The Anna Lindh Euro-Mediterranean Foundation for the Dialogue between Cultures, established in Alexandria (Egypt), seeks for recruitment

a senior specialist for administration and financing.

The Anna Lindh Foundation offers three years (renewable) contracts. The duration of the first contract will be linked to the present co-financing contract with the European Commission (expiring in August 2008). The salary will be internationally competitive. Eligible are nationals of one of the 35 EuroMed partners (25 EU Member States, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Israel, Palestinian Authority, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey).

The following qualifications are required:

o Higher Education degree or diploma in administration or related fields

o Ten years of professional experience, preferably at international level

o Profound experience with administration of international co-operation projects

o Excellent English and French

o Knowledge of Arabic and other languages spoken in the Euro-Mediterranean space will be an asset

o Excellent command of modern IT tools

o Good knowledge of administrative and financial procedures of the European Commission.

o Experience in working with multinational or multidisciplinary teams, organization of cultural activities and events, administration of public funds, project management and launching private-public partnerships will be an asset.
